The short version
This Privacy Policy explains how the Spellhand application — published on Google Play as "Spellhand: AR Hand Magic" ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") — handles information when you use it. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Spellhand: AR Hand Magic turns your hand gestures into AR visual effects using the camera. It is an entertainment app and does not require an account.
The camera is used only while an AR effect screen is open, to detect the position of your hands and face so effects can follow your movements in real time. This processing happens on your device. The live camera feed is not recorded, stored or uploaded.
Spellhand detects the position and shape of hands and facial landmarks to place effects. It does not recognize identity, create a faceprint, or match you to any person. No biometric identifiers are stored.
If you record or capture a magic clip, it is saved to your device. It is shared only if you choose to share it through another app.
Your settings and preferences are stored on your device.
Through the third-party SDKs below, the App processes standard mobile technical data (device model, OS version, language/country, app version, coarse IP-derived region, app-instance identifiers and the Google Advertising ID) for analytics, crash reporting, attribution and advertising.
The free app shows ads. Ad partners may process your Advertising ID, coarse IP-derived location and ad-interaction events. See Third-party SDKs and Your rights & choices.
If you email us, we receive your email address and your message so we can respond.

Analytics, Crashlytics (crash reporting), Cloud Messaging (notifications) and Remote Config. Data processed: app-instance ID, device model, OS version, language, country, screen views, anonymized usage events, and crash stack traces.

Serves ads in the free app. Data processed: Google Advertising ID, coarse IP-derived location, and ad-interaction events. Personalized vs. non-personalized ads depend on the consent you give through the in-app UMP prompt.

Install attribution and fraud prevention. Data processed: Advertising ID, hashed device fingerprint, install timestamp, and conversion events.

Ad attribution and measurement for Meta campaigns. Data processed: Advertising ID, app install/open events, and conversion events. This SDK is not used for Facebook login and does not access your Facebook profile or friends.

Because the App is ad-supported, the advertising and attribution partners named above necessarily receive the limited identifiers described in Section 4. Some laws (e.g. CCPA) may treat ad-related sharing as a "sale" or "sharing" — see Your rights & choices.
We share data only as described here, with Google (Play, Firebase, AdMob), Adjust (attribution) and Meta Platforms (ad measurement), plus authorities where required by law.
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to opt out of personalized advertising.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
The App is directed to a general audience and is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and our advertising and analytics SDKs are not configured for child-directed treatment. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
The App is operated with infrastructure and partners that may process data in the United States, the European Union and other countries. Where data is transferred internationally, our partners rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
We rely on Android's application sandbox and scoped storage to isolate App data, and our SDK partners use HTTPS/TLS in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, noted in the App or Google Play release notes. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
